Dr. Veerababu Dharanalakota conducts interdisciplinary research in the area of acoustics, and scientific machine learning. He combines theoretical, computational, and machine learning methods to study the sound wave propagation under complex environments with applications to fluid dynamics, geophysics, environmental engineering, medical ultrasonics, underwater acoustics, speech, audio, automotive, and aerospace sectors. He is also interested in the integration of data-driven and physics-driven models, and build hybrid models to address real-world problems.
